I am Kairit Sirk,
I am an artist, creator and founder of Sirk Collection. My passion is natural leather and making items from it. I like to say creator because I am able to make something out of every piece of cloth and leather. I find inspiration within myself – when creating a bag, I let the spirit guide me, it seems to be a very natural process. I am also inspired by flora and fauna (nature and animals), therefore I also use military animals and birds, military symbols and elements from nature in my creations.

 Originality and uniqueness are the key words that run through my products, all products are inherently unique in terms of their design and possibilities of use.

Beauty and practicality – in my work I only use genuine leather with various design elements, fringes, rivets – just the way you like it. Practicality and user-friendliness are equally important – all bags are very comfortable and practical.

Your bag is your face – Every customer has his own face and personality, which is also expressed in his taste and bag design. Customer satisfaction is very important to me, and I am excited to listen to the customer’s special requests, which are in my mind, and help to find solutions for their implementation.

Smaller footprint and nature-friendliness – in my work I also use leather scraps from large manufacturers and industry. It’s important to me to save the environment and reduce my footprint on this planet alongside mass production.

I have had the sewing bug in me since I was a child. I did my first commissioned work at the age of 16, I was already sewing clothes for myself much earlier. I used clothes I found at home or left in my closet and redesigned them and gave them a new life.

I went from leather to sewing bags after attending a festival. I saw how beautiful drums were wrapped in a towel or even a plastic bag because there was nothing to be found in the Estonian market. I offered the organizer of the festival, who builds shaman drums, to make wonderful leather bags and that’s how it started, already 4 years ago. During this time, we have developed and improved the bag together, until it became user-friendly, comfortable and most importantly for me – BEAUTIFUL.
